Instrument Consultations
You may phone us at (250) 595-5593 or toll-free (877) 595-5593
during regular business hours Monday to Friday to make
arrangements for the viewing and trial of instruments or bows
that we have for sale. Consultations regarding the repair,
restoration, tonal adjustment or appraisal of instruments or
bows may be made in the same manner.
Parking
There are two city parkades in the area, on Yates St. at Langley
and on Broughton St. at Broad. There is the Bay parkade on
View St. near Government, and the Robbins lot at Langley and
Fort St., across the alley from our shop. We have vouchers
for a free hour's parking in the city parkades.
Directions
If you are driving into Victoria from the north, or from the
Swartz Bay ferry terminal, continue into the downtown and turn
right on Yates Street. You will pass Government Street, then
Langley Street where you will find the city parkade. Park
where you can as you are now less than a block from our shop.
Travel
We recommend the
Victoria public transit service! The closest stops are on
Douglas St. Also you will find bike racks near our building in
Bastion Square and near the
Maritime Museum
across the way. If you are coming from out of town you may
consider
Harbour Air or
Kenmore Air
who fly into our harbour and dock just a few blocks from our
shop. Also in the harbour and just blocks away is the dock
for the
Clipper ferry service to Seattle, Washington and the
Coho
ferry to Port Angeles, Washington. We are also just a few
blocks from the
Pacific Coach Lines
and
Greyhound Bus
terminal which provide service to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal
and the Victoria and Vancouver Airports.
Here are some views of our building and neighborhood to guide
you:
Once you've found our building you can rest on one of the benches
outside Camille's Restaurant and admire the flowers. If you
wander along the Langley Street side of the building you will find
our side entrance which is marked as the entrance to the Law
Chambers, 45 Bastion Square. This has the fewest stairs.
Note that the doors to the building are only open 9 to 5 Monday to
Friday. At other times you should arrange with us to be met
at the entrance.
If you go through the antique main doors of the building under the
big "LAW CHAMBERS" sign, up a short flight of stairs and across
the main floor lobby, you will find your way along this descending
brickwork hallway to our door, number 204. There you will find a
bell pull by the door to get our attention. You needn't ring too
terribly hard.
And beyond the door is a little bit of magic and wonder. We
hope to see you soon.
